Our Story
We started RackWorks because we kept running into the same problem.
The Problem
Most hosting providers make you pick one or the other: solid hardware in a poorly connected facility, or a well-connected location running decade-old budget servers. Either way you're leaving something on the table. We thought that was a bad trade-off and decided not to make it.
What We Did About It
We moved our infrastructure to 123Net's Detroit-area data center in Southfield, Michigan and upgraded to Dell PowerEdge R640 servers running Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Modern hardware, on-site access to the Detroit Internet Exchange, and upstream routing to 90+ networks including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Cloudflare. No overselling, no surprises.
Who This Is For
If you need reliable compute for databases, APIs, and applications, and you also need your traffic to reach users fast, you shouldn't have to compromise on either. Current-generation hardware and Detroit-IX connected routing, at a price that actually makes sense.
