A KVM virtual machine with 1 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 25 GB SSD, plus a dedicated IPv4 address and an IPv6 /64 subnet that are yours alone.

Operating system, web server, mail server, database, SSL certificate and firewall, all set up and working before you see it. ClamAV virus scanning is enabled on mail.

"Single-page website"

One page with up to five sections, such as Home, About, Services, Hours and Contact, scrolling on a single page. Extra pages beyond that one are billable.

"Revision round"

One consolidated list of changes, sent in one go. Send us everything you would like adjusted and we work through the list together.

If your content has not reached us

If we have not received your intake materials within 30 days of your order, setup counts as delivered and further work is billed at the hourly rate.

We only use free WordPress plugins. We will not put a paid plugin on your site, so there is no licence renewal waiting for you a year from now.

Why this exists

Between a page builder and an agency

An agency

Typically $1,000 to $6,000 a year for a small business site, and hosting and email are usually billed on top.

A page builder

Cheaper, but you build it. Business email is normally an extra per-mailbox charge through a third party such as Google Workspace.

$20 a month plus a one-time $75. We build the site, five mailboxes are included, and the server is ours to look after.

Questions worth asking first

Is the $75 setup fee charged when I order?

Yes. It is charged once at checkout, together with your first month, so a first order comes to $95 rather than $20. It appears as its own line on your invoice, and it never appears again: every renewal after that is $20.

Do I need to already own a domain?

No. Bring one you already own, or we register one for you at cost, which means exactly what the registrar charges with nothing added. Registration is handled by hand at the moment, so allow one business day.

What exactly is a single-page website?

One page containing up to five sections, for example Home, About, Services, Hours and Contact, which visitors scroll through. It is the format most small businesses actually need. Additional pages are available at the hourly rate.

What counts as one revision round?

One consolidated list of changes sent in a single message. Two of those rounds are included in your first 30 days, and after that you get one free round every three months. Gathering your changes into one list makes each round go further.

When does the 30-day revision window start?

It begins on the day you order and runs for 30 days. Once it closes, your ongoing quarterly revision takes over: one free round every three months, counted from your order date.

What is the free quarterly revision?

After your first 30 days you get one free revision round every three months, for as long as your service is active. The three months are counted from the day you ordered, so your dates are your own. An unused round does not carry over into the next quarter, and your portal shows what is left in the current one.

How long until my server is usable?

About two minutes. Provisioning and first-boot configuration together take under two minutes, after which the control panel, mail server and a working site are all up. Your website content follows within 7 days of us receiving it.

Can I manage things myself?

Yes. You get full HestiaCP access and can add mailboxes, edit files and manage databases, though you never have to. If a change made in the panel causes a problem, putting it right is billed at the hourly rate.

What if I want to cancel?

There is a 7-day money-back guarantee. After that you can cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
